In our region of the country barbers no longer shave the nape of the neck, since Public Health authorities feared the raqor was a possible vehicle of transmission. Still, a small nick from a scissors, or even a comb could transmit this disease. But barber shops are not a haven for AIDS transmission. The one I go to practices good hygienic technique.





For your and your boyfriend's peace of mind, the best and safest thing to do would be for him to get a blood test for HIV/AIDS. Nothing is perfect, but this comes close.What would do if your boyfriend just told you that his barber says one of his customers has died of AIDS?
I don't see a connection here. So one of the customers of the barber your boyfriend goes too died of AIDS, so what? You can't possibly be afraid the barbers the source of the disease and your boyfriend might have it too, can you? Well, who'd do anything at all in this situation anyway? Do nothing! Its just simple gossip.
so you're implying that it could possibly be transmitted if you're boyfriend somehow got a minor scratch from the barbers paraphernalias?





honestly i think it's kinda impossible.


but tell him to have ELISA screening then western blot exam on a clinic so that you could both be at ease.
1. Hope your boyfriends barber practices good hygiene with his equipment.





2. Have your boyfriend get tested, just in case.





3. Test yourself, just in case.





Chances of either of you having it is slim, but it's possible.
Well, you could say ';hum, that sucks. How'd everything else go today?'; The guy didn't die from AIDS, he died because his immune system was too weak to fight. Probably respiratory and/or fungal.

Seriously though, read about HIV and AIDS because it sounds like you don't know much about it. You can't catch it from a barber.
make sure that the barber sanitizes his scissors after every customer...
I'd have him get checked for it just in case.
im a guy - so girlfriend's barber's customer died of aids... nothing aids doesn't spread from hair...
