Would Dallas have to give up Barber to get McFadden?

it really looks like they want him(McFadden) but I want Barber to stay is there anyway they could keep Barber and still get McFaddenWould Dallas have to give up Barber to get McFadden?
I have heard this rumor, but I'll put it to bed. There is no way Jerry Jones is going to give up Barber, plus 2 1st rounders they covet. Dallas is going to use those 2 picks to help their secondary and add maybe a running back or wide receiver. If the trade happends, it would be a dumb one. Not that McFadden isn't good, but he is unproven. I also wouldn't want to give up a guy who basically carried the running game last year as a backup and still went to the Pro Bowl. If I was Jerry Jones, knowing he is an Arkansas alumni, I still wouldn't pull the trigger on this trade. Besides they need to look toward the future, since TO and Glenn are gettin up in years and Crayton can't carry the receiving core by himself.Would Dallas have to give up Barber to get McFadden?
rumor is they keep barber, and trade picks to Oakland to get McFadden.
Good question about our boys once again!!!! the answer is no they dont have to...see everyone assumes that that is the case. but it's not..it all depends on who the cowboys trade with!!! ah ha see no one has touched on that...everyone assumes that dallas has to move up to #1 to get him..and if they move up to trade with the dolpfins then yes they might have to trade Marion Barber..look bottom line is i belive that if another team offers barber a contract that dallas will let him go to get the extra first and third round pick..think about that for a second...3 first round picks!!! crazy...i can see dallas trading and gettin macfadden with the falcons or rams..in that case they would more like to have a pass rusher in chris canty or a linebacker in bobby carpenter along with2 first round picks!! just reflect on that for a minute and you'll see what im talking about!
Probably not. Why take a chance on Mcfadden when you have a good back?
The rumor was Barber and both #1's to Miami for Mac Fadden. Thats too much to give up. Not that DMac won't be good, but he is unproven (can you say Blair Thomas) and the Cowboys have other needs that must be filled with those picks.

Remember, We scored 455pts last year. Offense wasn't the problem. We gave up big plays through the air. We need a 3rd CB most of all! Then a back up to Barber %26amp; youth at the Wr position.
They would probably have to give up Barber to get the pick because they dont have anything they would be willing to give up that would adress one of the top teams needs. I wouldn't give up Barber to get him though he is proven and although I am pretty sure Mcfadden will be a success in the pros I dont think hes worth taking a chance on losing Barber over.
barber is a good running back behind a great line. he is not good enough for a first rounder. he is worth a second round pick. I think almost anybody could run behind that huge line. They would have to trade a solid offense or defensive lineman and barber to get McFadden. but trust me... it would be worth it.
Dallas can't get McFadden. Period. It costs too much to trade up. They'd have to give up both first rounders, Barber, and more to get in a position to draft him. Moreover, the Cowboys do not have the cap room to fit a Top Five draft pick in. They have $3.5 million in cap space, barely enough to fit in their picks without trading up. If they traded up for McFadden, they'd have to do some major reworking of contracts and cutting of players who were key to last year's success. It is not going to happen.
They definitely wouldn't. I hate to tell all you Dallas fans, but Barber really isn't worth very much on the trade market. Maybe a 3rd round pick. RBs in general are going for nothing on the trade market nowadays. For example, the Jets got Thomas Jones from the Bears in exchange for swapping 6th round picks with them. That's right, the Bears gave up their leading rusher in his prime in exchange for moving up 20 picks in the 6th round.

If Dallas really does trade up to get McFadden, whoever they trade with is going to be interested in receiving mostly draft picks, not players. Dallas could probably secure the rights to McFadden by trading their two 1st round picks and also a 2nd or 3rd round pick.
That would be a stupid move. Marion Barber is one of the toughest RBs.
No one is going to take Barber to pass up the opportunity to draft McFadden.
yup their tht dumb
They aren't going to give up Barber. Jerry Jones is football stupid, but he's not that stupid.
I'm a Cowboys fan myself and i think that would be absolutely stupid of them. Yeah Mcfadden is good but Barber is young and starting to get more experience on his side which will only make him better. It would be a poor mistake from the Cowboys if they do this trade cause thats the only way they can practically get him.
The price to trade with Miami would be Barber and two #1's

Thats to steep! But depending how far he may possible fall draft day, the price will go down. Unfortunately all we could do is speculate on who or how much. But if you could get him for one #1 and some young players(Carpenter %26amp; Hatcher or Canty) well that would be pretty sweet.

Remember as someone earlier said, we need a CB!!! Early in the draft! It was a weakness last year %26amp; must be fixed!
