Why do barber's / hairdressing scissors have a sharp pointed end?

When it seems far safer to have rounded ended scissors, as I and many a man will testify after various ';close shave'; visits to the barbers.Why do barber's / hairdressing scissors have a sharp pointed end?

just to let you know , its so we can cut be Hines the ears, and some men like the hair cut fr in side the ear, that's why they are made that's way ,
so they can stab u in the head if you dont keep still in the chair
for the fine cutting touch
you need the pointed bit to get small ends cut.
Safer perhaps but you'd end up with an awfully uneven cut.
