Any of you woman go to a barber shop for your haircut?

Hi yes I do I am a mature female and have used a barbers for a number of years, the reason you get a far better cut than a salon, I have a short wedge style, and it needs regular maintenance, barbers are better to get the back and sides tight with the clippers, no waiting and no high prices

its the way to go, and I live in Devon, I have never heard so much rubbish as these answers, I have seen more females in barbers than anywhere, long hair trims, proper well cut bobs,


layered styles you name it, do not believe this rubbish in Plymouth alone I could name at least 10 unisex barbers where females are welcome, its not old men with fags hanging out of there mouths and buzz cuts, but proper cutting and styling well cheaper than salons I pay 拢8 for my cut and style and I dare anybody to compare it with a classy high priced salon, if you want pictures etc please mail me

A lot of barbers refuse to cut womens hair, I have found some that will do it as they are far better at cutting whereas I've found hairdresses are better at styling. If you like a short simple cut it's worth finding a good barber.

I don't, but I can understand girls that do. I mean what if you have short hair and ';women'; (don't know the proper word) hairdressers might not know how style it. My dad owns a hairdressers so I should know more but anyway,,, Lol.. bib x
umm, no. most of the ones around here are run by middle aged men who more than likely couldn't give me a proper layering.
Yes actually. My use to be hairstylist was also a barber. He did both women and men hair. SO i basically had the best of both worlds. I would have a nice hairstyle and my edge-up would also be on point!
No but in the hairdressers i go to there is a separate barbers husband and wife team.
I used to go ... I used to have my hair 1mm short, same all over ... hairdressers for girls refused to do it for me .. I have no idea why!
nope i sure havent..but i dont know why theres anything wrong with it because after all a barber has to go thru the same cosmetology schooling that a hair dresser has to go thru.
