Week 14 RB: Maurice Jones-Drew, Marion Barber, or Kolby Smith?
I can start 2 Running backs. The last 2 weeks I have been plugging the wrong one in consistently.Week 14 RB: Maurice Jones-Drew, Marion Barber, or Kolby Smith?
Go with the proven product-MoJo %26amp; Barber....The Chiefs will have a lot more stalled drives due to poor ball movement and that will prove to be hurtful for those red zone td's by Smith.Week 14 RB: Maurice Jones-Drew, Marion Barber, or Kolby Smith?
Drew is up against a tough D this week in Carolina. Play Smith and Barber. Keep in mind that Barber gets most of his yards and TD's in the 2nd half when Dallas is eating clock. They will have a lead against Detroit today, thus Barber will be getting alot of touches. Smith is playing Denver this week, and the Broncos have been giving up big number to RB's all year. Drew must be on your bench this week.

I don't particularly like him (Bears Fan) but he has been a vital to the Giants offense. Without a power back Eli's performance is going to be analyzed more than Rex Grossman's was last year. I expect at least a couple of low quarterback rated games from him this year.
In regards to your question though, if Tiki is going to be a commentator for the games he better shut his pie hole before the season even starts. well he joined the analyst team now and being a douchebag is kinda in the criteria. analysts are 50/50 50% fact and 50% moronic opinion. i guess the paycheck he's getting now is worth more than the love that the fans and the giants organization gave him for ten years. i still love tiki and still have the back of eli but tiki didn't have to go there. but that's what he gets paid to do now.

But the biggest cra@p was when Tiki said Eli was happy that Tiki was gone because Tiki was too much of an authority figure for Eli to take charge of the team.

Barber is simply speaking the truth, that is not being a douchebag! Eli has no leadership skills, the Giants are terrible and their team is in the gutter, Tiki was the best thing for Giants football and now he is gone and so is their chances of doing anything this season or as long as they have Tom Coughlin as their head coach. Eli isnt that great, his expectations are unfair b/c of his last name but that still doesnt mean he shouldnt be criticized fairly, which is what Tiki did. He never came out during the season (which shows maturity) and now he is doing his job as a reporter and Eli and everyone wants to get mad? I believe Tiki when he says Eli had no leadership skills and i believe Tiki when he said that when Eli tried to run a meeting it was ';comical';. David Carr gets the shaft when he actually did a superb job considering the team around him (he had the worst offensive line ive EVER seen), but Eli has weapons out of this world and he has what i believe is the second WORST completion percentage in the league behind Michael Vick (btw Carr was top 10 in completion percentage, and probably had at least a second less per throw to make a decision and still hit the right guy alot more often). Eli is a DECENT QB on his best day, thats it....take Plaxico off that team and Eli becomes one of the worst 5 QB's in the league (starting) b/c Burress has saved his a** ALOT with his size and athleticism.

He's got a ton of heart and determination. Won't go down until he hurts you first. But this style of running probably will not last over an entire career of full-time carries because the human body can only take so much. However, with another guy in the backfield to help him shoulder the load, he has a chance to put up some solid numbers over his career.
When you absolutely positively need a first down he will get it for you I hope he can carry the load as a starter this coming season it will be hard with his angry running style to have a full season as the main guy because he takes and dishes out so many hits
He is a BEAST. He is about the size of Julius Jones, a little taller, but runs like he's got the body of Brandon Jacobs. Just watch this guy play. He runs like Adrian Peterson, but he's slower and doesn't have the jukes. But still, he's a BEAST
He's pretty hard to take down in the NFL, did you see his miracle escape from the New England Patriots? Practically the WHOLE defense had a chance to take him down, and he gained positive yards.
I'm a GIANTS fan - and when the ball is placed in his hands, I'm NERVOUS.....he could break a tackle and go all of the way. Don't know if he is ready for an every down back though.
Barber is a solid back but like people say... he needs some help. He runs hard, breaks tackles but doesn't have the best endurance and wears down as the game goes on. They drafted Felix Jones who could be a perfect compliment
i think he isn't a 3 down back and needs a backup that comes in every 2 plays or so. not fast but a good power-back that can break half the tackles he faces
