First of all, does she want her head shaved? If so, she'd have it done professionally
Go to a barber and not some fruitcake like you with a razor. Sheesh.
If you haven't had experience with a razor, I would not attempt this.Not knowing what is on the surface of her head you could come across a mole, raised scar,skin tag,cyst,wart etc. on her head, and cut it open. If you use a barber razor she will be completely bald, not shaved. Keep that in mind. Also it is only with experience that you would be able to get around the ears and not cut open her head or ear.


For a shaved look you would be better to use a clipper with an attachment on it. (they come with 4 attachments for desired closeness)


If you do have experience with using a razor and she is going for the bald look, I would suggest first cutting her hair as short as possible with scissors first, then use a clipper with attachment #1 then use shaving cream or conditioner as not to give her razor burn. Good luck!

Skin fade is really close to the skin pretty much no hair, and a close fade is a number 1 really short but you still have hair... i personally think a close fade looks a lot better.
a skin fade is usually on a 0 setting,and is almost as smooth as skin. a 1 fade has a 1/8th inch setting and leaves your hair...1/8th of an inch. Depending on how lomg ago you had it done, your hair has probley already grown 1/8th of an inch,,,as it grows 1/2 inch a month.
